I hope your Thanksgiving holiday was wonderful! We had a house full of family and it was so nice to be together again. Feeling extremely grateful.
Today, Darrin and I had the best lunch at Third Street Social. Wowzers! Darrin said his fried chicken was some of the best he’s ever had! And trust me, my man loves fried chicken and orders it often when we dine out. I had the sweet potato and squash pie, oh my, so creative and so tasty! The deviled eggs were excellent!
A few weeks ago, I had a great lunch at Zocalo on the Plaza. Wow, the empanadas were divine as were the margaritas!
One of my favorite desserts, Apple Bavarian Torte, was on our dessert table at Thanksgiving. I adapted the recipe to be gluten-free by swapping the wheat flour for g-f flour. Delicious and so pretty!
Fun for everyone - the Festival of Lights at Powell Gardens
We made it back to the theaters! House of Gucci was fantastic!
Lady Gaga, Adam Driver and the entire cast are incredible! It’s a MUST SEE!
A dear friend of mine and I attended a culinary movie event to see the film Julia. The documentary tells the story of the famous cookbook author Julia Child. The unexpected TV star who changed the way we think about food, television and about women. It was so interesting to learn more about her life, family and her fight to make cooking more feasible and attainable.
Are you looking for a photo booth for an event? I highly recommend The Looking Glass. Gary was great to work with!

Pickles - who doesn’t like pickles?!
