Happy Holidays from our family to yours!

I made a key lime tart for Thanksgiving and I want to share it with you. I tweaked the recipe using ingredients I had (I forgot a few things at the store). I have so many recipe ideas, but I’d love to hear from you! What are you craving? What would you like to know how to make?

Send me your suggestions! melanie@continueyum.net

My upcoming weekend project. I plan to add colorful beads and maybe some bells too! Cheers!

I’m always thinking of my next home project. This blog has gorgeous ideas of how to use tiles on accent walls. I’m thinking my laundry room needs a fresh new look.

One of my favorite bloggers shared this travel story and it’s worth repeating. I love traveling by train. You get to slow down and more of our beautiful country that you can’t see by car or plane.

I explored more on the Travel & Leisure website (warning: rabbit hole!)

This small Italian island looks stunning. A girl can dream right?!

This Great Lakes cruise sounds lovely. Lake Superior is gorgeous.

Get out and about locally to support our community. The holiday fair is outside this year at Union Station. Each vendor has their own tent.

Buy your tickets online.

I made this and it was a hit. I omitted the nuts and it was so good. We decided it would be great mixed with cream cheese, added to ice cream or slathered on a turkey sandwich.

I love tortilla roll-ups. Always a hit on an appetizer tray. This version looks so good!!

I’ve never made fish & chips at home, but this recipe has me thinking I need to do so. I would be tempted to serve with baked tater-tots, well because, tots!

What is the best way to dispose of leftover oil after frying? I don’t fry much, but I’ve always wondered.

Kindness is contagious and showing gratitude each day heals you from within. Pay it forward each and every day.

We purchased our real christmas tree on Friday. We love our local tree farm and getting a fresh tree is a family tradition. This article has great advice for keeping your holiday tree happy and healthy (and safe!) for weeks to come.

A lovely gift idea for friends, and family.

These custom made signs are gorgeous. I love the idea of hanging over an outdoor fireplace!

Have a lovely and happy week!
