Darrin and I had a great trip to Chicago over the weekend.  The weather was perfect for our quick get-away to celebrate our 17th Anniversary.  Do you plan your next vacation while you’re on vacation?  We spent our 10th in Portland, Maine and we want to go back!  Fun for the whole family.

Both of my girls have had the best character-building experiences at this camp.  Choose your adventure!  A camp for everyone!  Although they weren’t able to go this past summer we all look forward to going next summer.  Rainy Lake in International Falls, Minnesota is a very special place.

This Silk and Steel exhibit at the WW1 Museum in Kansas City fascinates me.
