I started my first batch of Pineapple Vodka (Stoli Doli). It is best for the fruit to marinate for 10-12 days. Had my first taste over the weekend, and oh my! CHEERS!
I want to try making these shishito peppers! Anyone make these at home? Apparently I've been missing out!! A few weeks ago I ordered them at RA Sushi….oh la la! Spicy good!

Had my first taste of Happy Tummy Empanadas at the Overland Park Farmers Market. If you see their food cart, stop immediately and get you some! Naturally gluten free too!
Are you looking for a spectacular restaurant in Shawnee? Make reservations at Wandering Vine at Caenen Castle. Darrin and I returned for a 2nd time since they opened last November. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the food, the service and the ambiance. They have a gorgeous outdoor patio. Looking forward to returning for Sunday brunch!
