Hi! How are you? I continue to find inspiration to ContinueYum and am grateful to have this connection with you. Thanks for being here! Just keep cooking and finding the good in each and every day.

Craving - Chicken Gyros - Hello beautiful!

I am a big lover of Gazpacho - this recipe uses Roma tomatoes to enjoy now. When our farmer’s markets are brimming with local varieties, it will get even better.

What I’ve been making - This Chicken Cordon Bleu recipe was so good!

My family loved this pizza crust. It was delicious & easy!!

Sheet pan nachos - Mexican street corn style! Yes, please!

The Golden Scoop - A newly opened coffee & ice cream shop in Overland Park that is "changing lives one scoop at a time".

Get out there - HIke and Trails to discover in our area. Next on my list, the trails at the Overland Park Arboretum.

I like to scroll Pinterest to find inspiration for my flower pots. I like to have a plan when I go to the garden center. Otherwise, I’m like a deer in headlights. Anyone else? I found This blog that has some great ideas! I love the idea of a monochromatic theme for a few pots.

Make a reservation to visit the Koala Bears at the Kansas City Zoo

The Deanna Rose Farmstead reopened on May 4th.

Watching - Darrin and I just finished season 2 of For All Mankind on Apple TV+. The show explores “the possibilities that might exist if the global space race had continued and where humanity would be now”. Wow - just wow!

Tips and Tricks for your iPhone - hidden settings that I have found to be very helpful!

Get a head start on your Father’s Day gifting

Many milestones to be celebrated this month. It’s exciting to see so many graduating from high school and college. Navigating school this past year has been challenging for students, families and teachers alike. My daughter Shelby just graduated with a degree in Environmental Science. She is pursuing a Masters in Secondary Education and would love to teach middle school science. Hooray for teachers!

With a grateful heart,

Melanie
